That's reassuring," she muttered darkly. "Seeing as I've never seen one before in my life, and only ghost stories and TV shows showing that there's evidence... now I find them walking right through the very food we're supposed to eat!" she said, shaking her head. There was no end to the surprises in this world. She looked down and slowly sat next to Gabe, feeling slightly uncomfortable at sitting at another house's table. "Is this okay?" she asked, noticing she was surrounded by those bearing the colors of yellow and black. She knew that Hufflepuff was friendly, but she didn't want to break any rules... especially on the first day.
Gabe laughed and nodded. "It does seem that way doesn't it?" Giving her a wink he glanced at Ivory looking apologetic. "I'm sorry Ivory. I didn't mean to make fun of you or Adrianna. Please forgive me...." Ivory gave a small hoot acknowledging his apology, however remained on Adrianna's shoulder defiantly. Sighing he shook his head and chuckled. "Fine...I see how it is. I feed you...you remember that..." HE said a bit menacingly then reached forward stroking her feathers. "You don't want Ebony to replace you do you?" He whispered to her smirking. She immediately fluttered off of Adrianns shoulder and landed on his own nuzzling against his neck. Grinning he looked at Adrianna. "They won't hurt you....at least I dont think so. My parents never mentioned it anyway. They did say something about a poltergeist though. Plays pranks and such on students...." Shrugging he looked up and down the table then shook his head. "I don't see how you would be breaking a rule. The school is all for inter-house unity. I would think they would encourage sitting at other tables."
