He was just about to say something when she started talking again "I meen what's your family history like?" he give her the first example he could think of. "Like my dad was a beater for England before he got injured and had to call quits, so he went to work for the ministry instead."

Ossia shrugged. "It's not that its particularly weird they're dating. It's just...well, I dunno. I guess I was raised to be more of a cynic about love."

She considered his question. "Well, my da wasn't ever a quidditch player or anything, mum either for that matter. My da's really into research. Muggle or Wizard. I honestly couldn't tell you what he does beyond that. But he works all the time. My mum used to be a teacher." She paused. "She's retired though. I don't think she understands a lot of the Wizarding World, and that bugs her. She likes to be in control, y'know? I almost didn't get to go here, she was going to raise me the 'proper' muggle way, but my da's family was set on it...so here I am. Three years later."
