"But I'm not tired," Jake whined, laying his arm on the table and resting there for only a second, and letting his eyes droop to stop the lighting- yeah! The lighting! It was wreaking havoc with his eyes... which needed to close... to rest.
Not tired.
"Erm, I think I'll just lay like this for a while..." Jake said, stupidly. "Sooooo..."
Yes, he was still an eleven-year-old. Who was obviously in need on his bed right now. For a moment she started to think just how great it would be to excuse oneself from the feast and head to the Common Room. But that wasn't going to happen, not in any start-of-term feast.
She burst into laughter. The memory of her brother into her mind. They were so alike. Yet again, they were still kids.
"Yeah, just rest your eyes for a while, Jake" she said, it was probably time to leave the kid rest for a while, was it?
"So...you should rest as much as you can, tomorrow will be busy" she said, but she was looking forward for the end of the feast just so she could head to the Common Room, not for the start of classes.

That only meant one thing to the fifth year. It was time to grab a quill and parchment and set to writing that sonnet. Something which Dominic was not at all looking forward to since poetry was not in the least bit one of his strengths. He'd have been better off calculating life path numbers for all the school professors than THIS!!
Now where did he leave his bag?
Oh right. It was in his trunk which was safely in the Hufflepuff dormitory by now most likely. That meant one thing; he would have to summon the quill and parchment. Withdrawing his wand from his black school robes, Dominic murmured quietly under his breath while pointing his wand near the kitchens, "Accio quill and parchment". Just hopefully no one would notice the flying school supplies.
Ugh. When Caleum Myers got wind of these actions by Mr Ancient.
What? A quill and a parchment? What were those things for? Of course she knew what they were for, for writing. But she'd meant to think as to why he was summoning them...into the Great Hall...when classes haven't started yet?!
Huh. Extremely weird. Was Dominic actually some sort of a writer kind-of-guy? Probably not. Then...why? Well, it was certainly not her business in the first place.
BUT...she couldn't help it.
"Ummm, Dominic...a quill and parchment?" she asked, he'll probably understand the indirect question within it. Just probably.
