He gave them an almost kind but somehow shifty smile, as though he were actually thinking on a secret. He sipped his tea and tipped a tiny wink at Alessia, then resumed assessing the staff and house tables quietly. Anastasia nodded curtly, etching the time for their tea into her little brain. She wouldn't forget, of course....especially not after catching the shifty wink he exchanged with the Runes lady. Hmmm indeed. Quote:

She had to look away to hide her laugh, surely not wanting any point deduction to her house. "No..Mam.." she waved her hand, "I meant..our next meeting point..er..classroom or your office..?" her tone was so mischievous. Oh..your curls didnt allow me go in peace ...Ms..banana head..my sweet green pea. Stirring her tea thoughtfully, Annie blinked at the seventh year girl who was apparently still at the staff table. "Why on earth would we need to meet at all, Ms. Stone?" That was her name, correct? "Are you interested in plant experimentation at all?" Perhaps she had glossed over some minor detail while the girl was babbling earlier. Or something. Quote:

He sighed and walked back up to the dais and flopped into his chair. "What did I miss?" he asked whoever happened to be within hearing distance. Waiting for the confusing child's response, Annie sighed and pushed a strand of red hair behind her ear. She looked up when the Headmaster returned to his seat, realizing suddenly that she had ended up closer to the center of the table than she'd started, thanks to the whole hiding-from-ghosts incident.
"Not much," Annie replied with a somewhat sinister smile. "A few students almost dying, loss of a few points, ghosts returning.....er, is Hogwarts always like this?" He would know, wouldn't he? Why, she hardly remembered her days at Hogwarts. So much had happened since then...
