Daphne purposely ignored that eerie sensation of being watched by scrutinizing eyes by distracting herself with Jillian's posture, which at first seemed to have improved greatly. "Oh, yeah right..." Jillian realized she was slouching again and allowed Daphne to help her with her posture. Mermaid's Fins, how does Daphne do this all day as if it were as easy as breathing? Jillian might never find out. Although, she had to admit, keeping one's back straight wasn't as difficult as it was before.
Jillian shrugged. "Nah, he's fine with the Lucy thing. He dun' even remember it since I started calling him Lucky since he was five days old. As for Eadric over here, d'you think it fits him or should we change his name? I bet Garret would have a suggestion." she diverted her eyes towards the Hufflepuff table, quickly scanning for the boy, but to no avail.
Her eyes went back to Daphne as the girl spoke. "The ghosts are back? That's brilliant! I hope we see them soon. Oh, wouldn't it be fun if we had adventures with them this year? Speaking of adventures, have you got anything in mind? 'Coz I was thinking, we should go see the Giant Squid. Make friends with it, y'know. Eadric might like an animal friend. And the Whomping Willow looks pretty curious and I wanna have a closer took at it."
