Her eyes were gave her away as well. The normally emerald irises were now a shiny sliver, betraying her anger and frustration.
She walked up to the table and spotted the person she wanted to talk to. She gathered her scattered thoughts and took a deep breath. Placing herself in his path she gave a gracefully regale bow. "I am apologizing for my interruption Professor but I only ask a moment of you time." She took another calming breath and pressed on. "I am well aware of the rule concerning first years and brooms and would like to say that I have no broom in my possession. I had thought to get my father to send it to me if I made thw Quidditch team, that is to say after I gained permission." She gave a respectful nod of her head. "At the moment however, my broom remains at my residence in the Carpathians. I can understand if you still wish to take points from me, I will not argue. I simply wished to clear up this small misunderstanding."
Inside she was railing. He hadn't even listened to her explanation back at the table. He had brushed her off like she wasn't even there. She may be a first year but she was not going to be ignored. She held her head high as she watched him. Lasca would not be intimidated or cowed by this Professor. Her Papa had taught her to respect her elders and as her teacher he fell squarely in that catagory, but she felt that she should be given the same respect in turn. She was mighty proud of herself for the way she was handling the situation and no matter the outcome she would be satisfied.
Professor Kazimeriz did not break his stride. Of course, at the slow shuffling speed he traveled, he could continue walking through a speech three times that length and still not be out of earshot.
"See me in my office after the feast." he said to her, meeting her eyes for a moment before continuing on his way, shuffling toward the tables with Alessia at his side.
