Amy looked up at Jake with a kind smile. “Now don’t say that I liked you,” she noticed him returning her smile and noted the twinkle in his eye. Almost to the point of blushing until the smile quickly faded away. She listened to Jake and could tell he was leaving pieces of the story out. Though he had not pushed Amy into telling more then she wanted about her summer she decided not to push the subject with him either.

Then again her cheeks felt flush and her heart fluttered as she repeated what he said in her mind, I am sure she’ll love you too. After a moment she forced herself to speak, “I would love to meet her as well at the reason of them.” She placed her hand on top of Jakes, “I would take you to meet me mother for the holiday, but now is not a good time.” She gave a small sigh before continuing. “But hey maybe we can go see your family,” she said in hopes to cheer herself as well as him up.
