Trying not to be nosy as the two of them talked, Mariel focused on her dessert, but looked up as she heard a familiar voice. Finally locating the sound, Mariel waved a bit as she called, "Sarah, over here." She would certainly welcome another friendly face after recent events.

"I thought I'd never find you."
Looking at the expression on Mariel's face,and seeing one of the professors departing,Sarah became concerned.
"Are you alright? You don't look very happy,have I come over at a bad time?"
Squeezing in next to Mariel Sarah smoothed out her robes and smiled at her friend.
"Did he say something to you guys?" she asked,in reference to the professor.
Oh so many questions,but she was genuinely worried.
