Jayne took the short time between her and Cayden to have a look around again. Not because it was all new to her (which it was), but out of her own uncontrollable curiosity of other people. No matter how unlike her that seemed to others, it was her. She liked to... observe.
Hogwarts wasn't what she had expected when she walked in earlier. Her mother had raved on and on about it to no end and she had expected more. But at the same time, there was a certain feeling to it.. One that was comfortable despite the annoyingly chatty students sitting around her.
As she toyed with the fabric on her small navy messanger bag, she watched different students, her eyes wandering. One girl was talking about her snog life or something of the sort, and rather loudly at that. A few others were shoving food down their throats as if their life depended on it. Disgusting.
Her icy china-blue eyes wandered some more and landed on a girl whom had just walked in. She was... different. And she was definatly new, that much she could tell, maybe by the look on the girl's face... It didn't matter though..
With a small sigh, Jayne's slender fingers stopped messing with the bag and she put her hand under her chin, making a short glance over at Cayden then back down at her short, manicured nails. |
