She smiled at Theo.
"Thats good. I didn't see you on the train I was worried about you." Theo was her brother's best friend so she felt that she had to look out for him like she would her little brother.
Paris noted the sad look on her friend's face.
"Oh Poppy, whats wrong. Did you lose your gloves again?" she asked her. For some reason Poppy's pain was touching her and she didn't want to see the girl upset.
She raised an eyebrow at her sister. The owlery? That was a odd place to go.
"Well I think Goliath knows enough to come here first. Dad used to send letters to Lucas all the time with Goliath." She said. Her and that little owl had a rocky relationship. Apparently as a baby she had poured her bottle all over him and the poor thing has never forgiven her. She thought he was still cute.
"Well I will set those owl straight if they miss with him." Weather or not Goliath liked her he was still her father's owl and she wouldn't let anything mess with him. Goliath could hardly carry a letter with more than one page, but her dad loved him and the wee owl loved her dad. So she wasn't fussed about him.
She thought about it for a minute.
"Lets just explore the whole place. There are some interesting things around her and I don't want to miss a minute of it. Well let's check out our rooms first." She told her after she thought about. They were going to be sleepy after the feast and the long train ride.

He looked at the remaining students at the table, daring them to speak.
She looked at the ghost. Well at least he still has attitude, she thought. She wasn't going to say anything to him. She had her fill of adults who thought more of themselves than they ought to. She turned away from the ghost and went back to her conversation with her sister.
