Cam fell into silence as she listened to everyone around her catch up with their friends. She still wanted to go over and find Kyle...but couldn't find him any more in the mass of students. She'd seen him walk down there to take his seat after getting placed in a house...but now--nothing. He was nowhere to be seen, lost in the sea of Gryffindor students. It was too bad he hadn't been put in the same house as her, and that Christine was already in Hufflepuff. At least Reed had Christine to keep him company at his table. Lucky.
When a girl ran over saying that a boy had a fork stuck up his nose Cambri raised an eyebrow. She was tempted to go over and see what was going on, but really, what could she do about it? She was only a fourth year, and didn't know any healing charms. No doubt the boy would need some kind of healing if there was a fork in his nose. A she couldn't help any, Cam accepted that gawking was impolite, and stayed in her seat, and heaved a tired sigh when the girl ran off.
Oh what a thrill Hogwarts was. She placed one elbow atop the table, and rested her chin in her hand. Her eyes followed the ghosts that were floating around the room curiously. She had never seen a ghost before. Not ever. They were so strange--and kind of pretty.
