"Oh, true. I hadn't thought about that," James said, scrunching up his face in thought. He sat for a moment, trying to figure out how to get out of that. "Well, I guess I'll just have to leave extra early for my classes, then. I can just leave some room for something like that to happen."
Ashton nodded in agreement with James. He seemed a smart kid. "Hmm, I wish I would have thought of that...." She mumbled as she remembered her very first class in which she was late. She took a drink of her juice and finished off her pie with a grin. Quote:
Suddenly, a pale, transparent, floating man appeared through one of the walls and stopped over the Gryffindor table, "Well, well, its been years since I've seen this place, but I must say you all look like a wonderful crop of Gryffindors. Gryffindor for the cup!" At his last words he thrust his fist into the air, yelling the last four words and suddenly his head flopped off to one side. "Oh bother."
Ashtons eyes widened at the sudden appearance of the ghost. Sure, she'd seen them around, but he'd caught her by surprise. Plus, his head was half off! "Um....hello," she mumbled to him shyly.
