Hogwarts RPG Name: November {Noe} Franze First Year | Brain Twin | MASTAH ASHURRII | Reisdent PokeNerd | Digifangirl Just like a film, suddenly, time slowed down and everything went in exaggeratedly slow motion. She watched the Slytherin girl's arm fling forward, fingers open and the potato fly from her grasp. The course, she knew, was decidedly her, and though Issy was fully aware of this, her senses were stunned and she couldn't move. Her first instinct was to grab her wand, but she knew better than to try to use magic in the Great Hall. All she could do was stand there and let the potato attack her. No sense was in ducking - there was food all over the floor as it was.
And now, her new robes were covered with potato. Breathe. Deep breaths, Issy she instructed herself, taking a deep, shuddering breath and holding it so long that her face began to turn a blotchy purple.
She could hear some boy trying to take charge. Another girl was admonishing them. Juni's voice wafted into her ears and Issy let out her breath in a loud gasp and looked around. Sure enough, it was Juni! Casting her friend a feeble, but somewhat broad grin, Issy turned back to the Slytherin, eyes narrowing.
"'Fudge' is right," she growled. "A food fight! And you hit an innocent bystander! You're not even a Ravenclaw! What're you doing, throwing food at our table? If you're bent on acting like an animal, take it to your table, and take this one," she gestured with her hands to Kana, "with you, because apparently she doesn't understand what maturity is."
Breathing heavily, she stared around at everyone, all the people who were suddenly involving themselves.
Then she snatched a napkin from the table and began furiously attacking her robes, trying to rub off the potatoes, as her eyes filled with tears. An adomonishing voice made Issy look up and, through her blurry vision, she tried to locate it. It took her a moment, but through wavery tears, she realized it was a ghost.
Great! Just great!
"Now we're being admonished by a ghost?" she wailed. "HAVE YOU GUYS NO SHAME?"
Then, in typical female fashion, she stomped a foot angrily. |
