Sam hadn't even thought about this. About not knowing any people. Why did she just let her self think that she would be able to strut into this huge hall go sit next to a bunch of popular girls and start having a good time.
Sam was now at the head of the Ravenclaw table, confused where to sit. Would she sit on her own, or introduce herself to someone knew? This was stupid.
But Sam gathered her thoughts together.*Dont worry, I am so much more better than this, I will go and make new friends. Right Now* Samantha thought.
And she hurried of to go sit herself down next to a sweet looking girl who was surrounded by a group of girls.
Cela looked up and smiled brightly at a girl that had sat down just a moment before, ignoring the streak of strawberry juice on her cheek even though she could feel something sticky as she smiled.
"Hi! I'm Celandine." she waved even though the girl wasn't far away at all.

Cela turned her head, noting a sad looking boy and deciding to try to cheer him up. Ignoring Willie, the fork being brandished at her and the strawberry she had speared on the end of the fork, Cela carefully scooped a spoonful of mashed potato and flicked it at the boy.
"Hi!" She grinned, waving the potato covered spoon in greeting. "You can come sit over here you know." She was fairly sure that Juniper and Copernicus and that other girl that she thought was called Issy, wouldn't mind terribly. It didn't occur to her to be concerned about whether Willie would be put out or not since... well he wasn't a Ravenclaw.

Cela held up her hand with the little black scorpion on it, "Haven't named it yet though!" Cela tipped her head sideways and let the scorpion crawl up her cheek so she could have her hands free to adjust her Ravenclaw tie that she was wearing as a headband. That done, she scooped up the scorpion and held it protectively, wondering if her housemates would spaz out the way the Gryffindors on the train had.
