Kayla made her way into the great hall and straight over to the Hufflepuff table, she was only a little late getting here. She looked around the table and smiled at everyone already there. Oooh...look at all the new Huffie's and they all looked like promising witches and wizards.
She spotted Helios, sitting on his own and memories of the end of term feast flashed through her mind and she pointedly ignored him, she wasn't about to start her year off on a sour note. Kayla took a seat and immediately grabbed some of the delicious looking food and merely sat listening to the conversation going on around her.
Amanda headed over to the Hufflepuff table, for the first time since she'd ever been at Hogwarts. She wanted to talk to Kayla about what had happened on the train, with the whole conversation with Zeke after she had left but she couldn't really say a lot when there were little ears around probably listening.
She spotted Kayla and headed over to her. "Hey Kayla, can we talk for a couple minutes?" Amanda said, straightening out her Slytherin robes, ignoring any stares of the other Hufflepuffs at the table.
