Quickly, Whitney walked into the compartment and returned Amanda's hug. "It's great to see you too Amanda!" she said with a huge smile on her face. She was so happy to be going back to her real home. Whitney opened the door rather awkwardly and looked around at the occupants. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to say something or if she should just have waited for one of them to say something. Taking the chance, she simply said, "Hello."
"Hi!" she said, smiling at the girl who just walked in. She had never met her before, but she knew she wasn't a firstie because she saw her in a couple of her classes last term.
"I'm Allie. It's nice to meet you."
