Giggling at Sarah's Pygmy Puff, Mariel pulled her own puff out of his cage. "Oh, Nigel, is it? I couldn't remember," she said. "This is Aramis. I'm sure you want him on your lap too, right?" she asked with a chuckle, then set him down so he could get acquainted with Nigel.
Leaning back in her seat, they young Ravenclaw listened to her Hufflepuff friend speak. She chuckled at Sarah's story, then shrugged as she said, "Meloria brought me," she said referring to the middle sister of her family. "My father got married last weekend, so they're off on holiday."
"Oh, I know," Mariel said looking up and nodding. "I can't stand the wait any longer." Glancing out the window, she said, "It's really getting crowded now. I bet we'll be leaving soon." She glanced out the window again as more students filed past. She had told Lasca to look for her and hoped the younger girl would be able to find her in the crowd.
"Aramis is a lovely name," she smiled as Mariel took the puff out of it's cage and placed it on her lap.
"Of course I don't mind holding it...Nigel like's other puffs..don't you Nige," she said looking down at her pet and stroking him.
She looked back up at the mention of a wedding.Oh that's right,Mariel's dad was getting married.Seemed it had already happened then.Not sure what she should say,after all she remembered Mariel didn't quite like her new step-mother,she just smiled and slowly asked
..."Went alright did it? The wedding I mean..." It is getting rather busy, Sarah thought as she looked out the door to the corridor beyond.
"We probably will.Looks like there will be a huge influx of new students this year," she smiled,still glancing at the crowd outside.

She lugged her things down from the rack after sticking Tundra back in her pocket. Then feeling slightly guilty she turned back around. "You can accompany me if you would like. I do not wish to leave you alone again." She hoped he would come, she knew how it felt to be alone and it wasn't a good feeling.
Making her way down the hallway she looked in on several windows and spotted Mariel. Opening the door she gave a bright smile. "Mariel! I thought I would never find you! Is there room for one or two more?" She gave a polite smile to the other girl present, she didn't want to be rude and invite herself in. She glanced behind her to see if Kevin was with her.
Sarah's gazing came to a sudden halt when another girl appeared at the door and spoke to Mariel and smiled at her.
Collecting herself she smiled back and answered
"Hi,of course there is room...please come in!"
She moved along the seat a little,trying not to drop the pygmy puffs in the process,and settled by the window.
"Hello Lasca nice to meet," Sarah smiled as Mariel introduced her to the girl.
"First year huh? You are going to have a great time! Hogwarts is fantastic!"
