Daphne had would liked to point out that she wasn't speaking of secrets and that if she did have a secret to share it wouldn't be with her, or anyone really. She would have also liked to point out that she had always found Nicholai a pleasant person and not angry in the least bit.

Those things, however, were a little bit difficult to say when they were interrupted by Allie, whom she vaguely remembered from a few times in the common room. Frowning at the girl curiously, now strewn on the floor collecting her lost chocolate frogs, Daphne sighed. "Are you...alright?"

Blushing upon the verbal assault dealt by the older Slytherin student, Daphne tried not to roll her eyes. The way she threw out threats and practically rubbed her family's accomplishment's in their faces was a clear sign of insecurity. "Going for the jugular, are we?" quipped Daphne with a frown.
