Set had always been very bold. and very smart, but extremly loyal! "Do know who our head of house is?" he asked. He could tell by their first conversation that they would be life-long friends!!!
Yes, I do! Her name is Professor Macardrian Ashling Shackleton. I've heard she's the Arithmancy Professor. Cadence rather liked Set. He seemed like the best kind of person to meet on the train to Hogwarts. It was like an excerpt from a book: two strangers meeting on the way to school, they would become inseparable, and they would face everything together, no matter what happened.
Cadence's mother called her a romantic for thinking such things as believing that best friends could meet this way and just instantly know that their friendship would be special, and that fairytale loves and happily-ever-afters really existed, and that there was magic in all kinds of love.
Well, Cadence thought,
I'd rather be a romantic and think we'll be friends forever than be scared that I'll never make best friends. Set, what do you think Hogwarts will be like? My mum told me it's the best school in the world and that you learn so much. And did you know that there's this huge library with books about anything you can imagine? Oh and I can't wait to watch Quidditch. It's supposed to be the greatest sport ever. I bet you don't know about Quidditch, do you, being muggle-born and all?
