Clifford couldn't deny, he was a little ... nervous. Nervous about walking into a compartment? Eh. Okay, that was kinda pathetic. Hmpf. He needed to pull himself together like the big, strong, brave boy man he was. GRRR!
That didn't stop him unconsciously squeezing Evangeline's hand a little tighter. She was used to all this Prefect lark. He wasn't! The small badge pinned to the front of his robes still felt freaky and kinda out of place. Oh goodness, what if he walked in there and finally got told this was all a mistake? NUU!
He'd get through this. He had Evangeline and he had bazillions of sweets bursting from his pockets thanks to a quick trip to the snack cart. That's all he needed. Hehe.
They didn't have to stay here long anyway, did they? Hmmm. He didn't think so. "Let's get this over with then.." He finally mumbled with a small sigh as he slid open the compartment door. What appeared to be the two new Puff Prefects were apparently leaving ... which left them with just Newell and Greingoth. Great. Super. Just bloody fantabulous.

Still clinging tight to his girlfriend's hand, Clifford led Evangeline into the compartment and collapsed in the seat opposite Newell. Ew.
