Freya made her way into the owlery, it was pretty cool out...not that she was going to complain about it. She looked up into the rafters for her two owls, Tundra and Anchor, and found them huddled together, nearly asleep.
"Psst! You two!" Freya exclaimed as the owls gave her an endearing look, finally gliding down, each taking a different shoulder.
"You guys keep getting heavier each time I see you." Freya said calmy to them as the sat down on a large stone wall, letting her long legs dangle, her toes hitting the floor.
"I have another job for you...both of you." She added as she gave Tundra a clever look,
"You've been on retirement it seems. But not for long." Freya finished as Anchor started to mess with her hair and Freya took out a piece of parchment, tearing it in half.
She wrote a quick note on the first part,
Taking the second piece of parchment, Freya folded it into a very small box shape and tucked something on the inside.
"This one is for you." She told Tundra,
"Since you have more experience. I think you know where to bring this." Freya tied the paper box to Tundra's leg and held him out on her arm, he took off into the sky.
Freya then tied the short letter to Anchor's leg, scratching his head a little bit in delight. She held her other arm out,
"Just take this to Felix. He'll take care of you overnight I'm sure." Freya gave a small smile and watched as Anchor took flight as well.
