Nate saw the girl from Potions class named Rachel. "Hello." he said to her with a smile. Nathaniel walked over to his owl. "Hey buddy! Been eating well I see." he said as he picked up his bird. "Ok little dude. I don't know if you will be able to carry all the stuff I've asked father for.. So I've got to get a bigger bird. Ok?". Nathaniel walked over to a HUGE bird and picked him up. "Ok big guy. I need to you to take this to my father and wait for him to send some stuff back. Okay?" he said tying the letter to the owls outstretched leg.
Rachel turned, surprised.
"Hey Nate. How are you?" she asked cheerfully.
That was a little too cheerful Rachel. Anyone could figure out you were faking. She watched him do his business with the owl, and chuckled softly when he called his owl 'little dude.'
"Does he have a name?" she asked, indicating to the smaller of the two owls.
