Shipper Queen Hippie Quad Chapter 21
Benny reappeared next to a bush and ducked down into it. Axel and Benjamin were waiting for him and motioned for him to stay down. One more pop. Benny turned and saw Samantha kneeling down. She locked eyes with him. She couldn’t hide the fear in her chocolate brown eyes even if she tried.
After a moment of nothing, Benjamin stood and walked over to them. He kept on looking around him, searching. Axel followed after him. He spoke while putting a hand on his nervous mate. “We are about fifty feet away from the address the note said.”
“They have the place they are keeping him protected. Nobody is allowed to apparate near it or out of it. I accidentally apparated too close and ended up in Italy.” Benjamin said, with a slight smile.
“How did you know it was Italy?” Samantha asked.
“Just a hunch.” He chuckled.
“We are going to have to walk a little. Casey and Ava took the south side and will send a patronus our way when they know it’s secure.” Axel said.
“So now we just wait?” Benny asked.
“Yeah. If a patronus doesn’t come in the next ten minutes then it’s not safe and we need to leave.” Axel replied, his eyes unreadable.
They waited impatiently for anything. Benny was half expecting a group of cloaked figures to come greet them, but nothing. He looked down at his watch, and saw it was three in the morning. Time had gone by since he had woken up from a sound in the living room. The strange thing was, he was wide-awake. He had probably only gotten maybe two hours of sleep tonight, but he felt very alert. Looking over at Samantha, he could tell she was about as tired as he was.
Time went by and Benny was starting to grow anxious, when suddenly a white light was coming toward them. Benny grew tense and was ready to run, when Benjamin put a hand on his shoulder.
“Its Casey’s patronus.” He said, watching the white light come closer. Benny relaxed and saw the white light turn into a shape of a tiger. It ran with elegance and grace that no other tiger could and stopped in front of Benjamin.
“Safe. All clear.” It said in a deep voice. Benjamin nodded and the white tiger disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Benjamin then took his wand out and a white lemur escaped from the tip. It then took off running in the direction the tiger had come.
“Lets go.” Axel said, waiting for them to stand. Benny took Samantha’s hand and pulled her to her feet. He didn’t let go of her hand as they made their way across the field they had reappeared in. Benjamin walked in front of them, leading them into the direction of an old factory.
A bundle of bushes surrounded the factory, and that was where they stopped to hide in. The place looked deserted and empty. Maybe the note had been lying or a trap after all…
“Are we going to go inside?” Samantha whispered.
“Not yet. We watch first. See if we see anything. Look for any sign of movement.” Axel said calmly. Samantha nodded and began scanning the place. Benny looked around also, but saw nothing.
It didn’t look like anybody was there or had been there for a while. He was about to say this to the others, when Samantha took in a sharp intake of breath next to him. He quickly turned his eyes onto her, and saw that hers were wide and she was almost struggling to breath. Turning his head to where she was looking at, he found three figured walking in the dark. Two were hooded and holding the other roughly, by his arms.
