CoMC Classroom Rules (READ FIRST!) Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures! Please read over the following rules before RPing in my classroom:
1. All SS Board Rules apply. Please make yourselves very familiar with these rules!
2. Be polite, courteous, and respectful at all times while participating in my classroom. I will issue DETENTION for those who violate this rule.
3. Come to class on time. I do not accept tardiness in my classroom. DO NOT post your character entering my classroom late or I will DEDUCT house points. If you arrive in my classroom and I have already begun the lesson, just pretend that you have been there the whole time. Also, please do not announce if you are leaving my class early.
4. Keep in class chatting to a minimum. Long conversations that are not on topic will result in warnings, point deductions and possibly detention if it is continued. OOC comments should not be used; the PM system is your friend - get to know it well.
5. Always RP your character raising their hand before answering and do so in the same post. If you don't, your answer will either be ignored or you will lose points for speaking out of turn.
6. I encourage you to ask questions. Questions are vital to learning. If you have an IC question, do not hesitate to raise your hand and ask. If your question is OOC, please use the PM system.
7. Do not cheat. Students caught cheating on homework will receive a zero on the assignment a lose housepoints. Both the student who shares his work for an independent assignment AND the person who copies it will suffer the same consequences.
8. Class participation is strongly encouraged and the best way to earn housepoints. I want each and every one of you to enjoy yourselves during my lessons. Please keep in mind that your behavior, good or bad, will be responded to accordingly. No interfering with the teaching and learning of others. Disruptive behavior will result in the loss of housepoints. While I will not be posting points earned in class, I will be keeping track and they will be added in at the close of each lesson. |
