'Y'know, if it's that bad. You could always go sit with her?' Terry offered, smiling impishly. This was certainly...interesting. He was only humouring him. Something definitely had his best friend's ~~knickers~~ boxers in a twist. Hmm, well knowing Hugo, it prolly was about some hot girl.

Out of the blue, Terry murmured thoughtfully, 'Where is he by the way? Miles?' He turned to look at Hugo, 'Have you seen him at all today? Or is he with Vannie someplace else?'

Hugo leaned away from Terry as he shuffled closer, mouth dropping open in a comical 'o'. "What? Oh, I er--" He paused, contemplated for a moment and then tried to grin. It failed. It was more of a grimace. Poor effort. "Probably..." He stole a glance at Evolette, who would no doubt turn into Mrs Jealous if he began bragging about hot girls which didn't even exist. Sure, the two of them were only ever going to be friends, but they still got jealous when the other one enjoyed someone else's company. Evolette and Terry were different though. "She was like...a seven?"

It was only when Terry mentioned the arm-holding scenario, that Hugo realised it was actually numb. "Oh." He squirmed away from Evolette's steely grasp (holy moly, she was strong for a girl!) and leant on the window sill. Phew.

His forehead scrunched up in confusion as Terry once again mentioned the 'hot girl'. Merlin, why did he make up stories that he couldn't even remember? "Hot girl? Oh yeah. The numero seven. Naaah, I'll pass." He managed a weak smile, before turning to face the window. It was probably best, seeing as he was gradually getting paler and paler...

...and greener.

MILES! Nuuuu, he'd been mentioned. "Me? Seen Miles? Hahahahahhahahahahaha...NO!" He began to laugh hysterically, before making a horrible choking sound and smacking his head on the window. Merlin's Furry Beard! He was going insane! Gathering his thoughts and pulling himself together, Hugo cleared his throat. "Aherrrm. I mean...no. I haven't seen him."

I'm staying here aaaaaall train journey! Just us three yeah? NO ONE else? YEAH?" He grinned widely, but not in his usual loveable, infectious way.

In a 'I'm about to leap out of the window' type way.
