There was a fair amount of glass; and not at all easy to get out so he flicked his wand and used a reverse transfiguration on the slithers of glass to turn them into sand, precisely as he had with Alyss a few months back.

He reached into his pocket and removed a ridiculously clean handkerchief which he dampened with aguamenti. Nicholai carefully took her wrist again and gently began to dab at the cuts to remove the last of the blood and the sand. "So, do you feel like sharing what illicited such a passionate reaction?"
