All Sienna wanted to do was mope and wallow in her own sorrow, but no, of course, people had to come to bug her. She up-right in the fetal position and her face was staring out the window when the male voice spoke - it had an unfamiliar, foreign-sounding accent. European? French?

Whatever.

It was, however, very annoying, and she turned around to snap at the voice, until she saw that the face was friendly and wary - and Sienna simply nodded her OK.
