She tilted her head as she examined the other girl. "You don't look quite as excited. Are you okay?," she asked, concerned.

Mariska shrugged." I'm actually quite glad the term is over." She said honestly, taking a roll and putting it on her plate. She didn't eat it though; She just looked at it for a moment before turning to regard Elizabeth again. " I'm alright, I just think the stress of exams has finally turned into a form of exhaustion." She said, smiling lightly and laughing just the tiniest bit. She was lying of course. She still felt quite foolish, despite what assurances Asteira had given her. She had no idea what was wrong with her; She wasn't supposed to feel like this about him, it wasn't supposed to still hurt. But it did. She pushed the thoughts away and spoke again. " How do you think you did on the exams?" She asked, looking for a neutral subject to discuss.
