Tobi was utterly dejected. even if this was happy news for Professor Dainsie, it was lousy news for him, and he knew it would take a while to muster up really happiness for her. She was far and away his favourite staff member, even if she DID have a nasty habit of working with magical creatures that scared the pants off of him
"Congratulations Professor," he said, because it was polite, and because he knew he would mean it one day after he would no longer get the opportunity to say it to her, it probably wasn't all that convincing he knew, but he wanted her to know he wished her well. Still, he flopped down on the nearest chair with a sigh.
