Ready! Set . . . go! it was at that those words combined with the sound of the whistle, where Dominic kicked off from the ground and into the sky. The feel of fresh, crisp Springtime air on his face felt rejuvenating and made Dominic realize how much he had missed flying when not at practice. Oh he'd be sure to beg his mother to let him fly at home - and if she didn't let him, then he'd just have to sneak out at night or something.

Completely lost in the moment, Dominic nearly forgot the task at hand was to fly through all the hoops. Until the edge of one was quite near to his face and his seeker instincts were used to steer clear - just in time! Except that the hoop moved!? What in the world of canaries was Vindictus playing at with these moving hoops!? He'd much rather be chasing a snitch or a quaffle than hoops... this was insane!

Nevertheless, he had little choice but to do as the Professor instructed. For Hufflepuff and his captain ... and even little Miranda who constantly was eying him during practices. Flying after the hoop, he swerved carefully to avoid collisions with the other players - nearly swiping the tail twigs of the Ravenclaw Captain. Whoops! Perhaps a premonition for the game?

Dominic had the look of determination mixed with frustration on his face, as dove towards the hoop, aimed right and then just as he was almost through the hoop, it constricted in size - effectively tying his calves to the broomstick. EEK! Well at least it wasn't too tight, right? And he didn't need to move his legs too much as he flew through a second hoop. Actually, having his calves tied down almost made it easier, so long as it didn't cut off circulation ....
