Alina simply shook her head. She just couldn't say what she originally meant to be the third point on her list. She swallowed slowly, knowing that Theo had partly won. She bit her lip, was she just being selfish? Wanting to be able to go out with Theo on drives round the countryside? She took a deep breath, and gave a small smile. "Nevermind..." she said softly, trying to work out if they was a way they could all be happy. Maybe she could find a showy car that would satisify Theo, but also seated four people. Even if the room in the back was limited.
Alina tilted her head thoughtfully, and smiled at the hint of a whine in his voice. It sounded as if he really was stumped. She surely wasn't that hard to buy for was she? "I did," she said innocently, "I said I wanted the nursery. And that I didn't especially need anything else."
