I'm not sure he really wants the attention that Daniel gets. He likes to be himself and I think all the attention is getting to him. In some recent footage we've seen, it's like he's on the edge of breakdown or something. He didn't think it would be as big as it is, and the thing that bother's him the most, is that the fans THINK he is Edward, when he say's he's just Rob. I'm still going to see the movie, even thou I think too much hype has been made about it.
