Jenn looked at Rian shocked. "You've never.....wow!"she finally said. "You don't know what you've missed."she said.
Jenn watched Rian and laughed at Rian's look of pure terror. Yep. Rian sertainly hand't been to a quidditch match. Jenn watched and smiled as the teams flew by. She cheered and wooted as they zipped by. "GO Slytherin!! GO Hufflepuff!"she screemed. She listened closly to the anouncer. Oh wow! Slytherin needed to pick things up.
Jenn nodded at Rian's quetion. "Yes. The goal is to get as many goals as possible. The game ends when the one of the seekers find's and catches the snitch. But even then, there team could lose if they don't have alot of scores."she whispered to Rian.
Mariel nodded. Yes, she could understand that. Sarah was one of her best friends too and she certainly could see supporting Hufflepuff, but wouldn't Jenn want to see her
boyfriend win, especially seeing that he was playing on the team? Now Mariel was sure that something was going on. Something more than what Jenn was letting on. But she didn't feel like dealing with that drama at the present moment. Not when there was a game going on.
"I guess I see your point," mumbled Mariel to Jenn, as she focused her eyes on the team in yellow. Sure, Sarah would probably want her house to win, but it wasn't like she was actually playing herself, so Mariel didn't see the point of cheering for the Huffies. All that she could think about was that whoever won the game would be playing against Ravenclaw. And though she was fairly certain that she wouldn't be playing that game, she still wanted
her team to win.
"Hufflepuff's doing rather well," she said to Jenn as she nervously twirled a lock of raven hair around her finger.
Still watching the figures flying in the air, Mariel's eyes grew wide with incredulity as she heard an incoherent, yet confused mumbling of Rian to Jenn. Was she confused about the game? Mariel's suspicions were confirmed as she heard Jenn try to explain the basics. Could it be possible that this girl knew nothing of Quidditch?
She glanced over at Jenn as she screamed for both teams, and chuckled slightly. She really didn't know who to cheer for.
