Still looking down at the pitch as the Hufflepuff chasers got hold of the Quaffle and scored the first points of the match, he felt a slightly chilly breeze of air brush against his face as someone sat down next to him. Looking at the person – who surprisingly was Cale Newell – out of the corner of his eye, Seth smiled weakly, nodded his head at his fellow prefect, and calmly said, “Hello, Cale.”
That was a good start, right?
Cale blinked. Well, that was a lot better than he expected. He had thought that Seth would retort with at least one snappy comment, maybe two if he was in a good mood. Cale gripped the Hufflepuff flag in his hand--he didn't really know any Slytherin players, at least none that he really liked, and he knew one or two of the Hufflepuffs (although Dominic Denton was on that team...uggh) so he figured he'd support the badgers. "Long time no see," he said conversationally, tightening the Gryffindor scarf around his neck as he spoke. He vaguely wondered if Seth knew that Anna and Cale were back together...it was hard to tell.
