Ryan had an extra skip in his step as he made his way to charms. Not only was it his favorite subject (other than flying, of course), but his team had just won its first quidditch match of the year. There were two things to be happy about.

He happily popped his head into the charms classroom and stopped abruptly. What was the arithmancy professor doing there? He decided it would be best to keep all questions to himself, though. He didn't want to repeat the same question everyone else was going to ask.

Instead, he opted for a nice, polite, "Er....hello, professor."
