He looked at her, then quickly walked out the door, his cloak flowing behind him like a billowing cloud on a windy day. He let the door slam as he got into the corridor. He took a deep breath and continued. He could only talk to one person right now, and he needed to find her.
His next words cut at her like a knife. It was like he had ripped out her heart and threw it against the wall. He wasn't even connected to her when he said it; he was acting like a robot.
He is at the point where he doesn't even love me anymore. He's just tossing me aside now...
And the way he said it too... He so totally didn't get how she felt about him.
"Please, Mads. I don't want to be with anyone else. Just you. We can work this out, I know it." But it was futile now.
With one bit motion he had left the room, slamming the door behind him. She just stood there for a minute not moving or thinking even. Sh didn't even cry. She just knew that she had to wait here until she knew that he was far away from here. Then she would run out of the room and go to her Dorm and cry.
