He nodded in understanding, his facial expression still worried, but not scared. He distantly heard Samantha ask if Lucy was ok, but that thought vanished when Lucy placed her hand on his face. His mind went foggy, and the only clear thing was the woman standing before him. "You're welcome," he whispered and moved so that they were mere inches apart. He cupped her face with his hands and lowered his head slowly towards her. "Luce..." he whispered again, his brown eyes on her gray ones. Ever so gently and carefully he pulled her towards him, closed his eyes and kissed her.
Lucy wanted to keep all the memories of that night. She wasn't sure if she realized what Jake was doing but she let him lead her into the kiss.
She closed her eyes and all the sudden she was kissing him back, in the same sweet and gently way.
She barely had heard his words. If she was thinking properly. she would have pull back immediately, but this Lucy, the one that was actually enjoying the night because of her co-workers, didn't do it.
"Lucy.... c'mon baby, come here. Lucy!" the seveteen year old guy told his girlfriend, two years younger than him. He grabbed her carefully but the arm and pulled her agaisnt him. Lucy was angry and hating him in that moment. When he kissed her, she pushed him and slapped him. She had seen him hanging out too friendly with the Ravenclaw captain.
Later, comparing the two men, Lucy would remember this.
