Flabbergasted at Kayla's suggestion, Dominic wasn't really sure what he was supposed to respond to that. Clearly she was hinting from the fact that she saved his precious head from the pumpkin, but honestly, reason to bring that up now? No need. And ... did she just call him ... his stomach ... fat?! Canaries!
Automatically peering down at his abs, Dominic shook his head. Oh she's just jealous of these, clearly he smirked, noticing his quite flat non-musculature, pre-pubescent stomach. "You're quite right, throwing them at Camira was not wasting them at all. Would you care for something thrown at you too?" He asked kindly, still having not forgotten that Kayla threw a book at him.
Slippery hands? Well the way things were looking in this match, he had a feeling not him, or anyone playing next week, would come out looking much cleaner. That was when he saw a blur of red and blue coming towards ...
HIM!
Diving quickly down to avoid collision, the fourth year slid belly side down on the bench below him, his feet flailing behind him. In just the way for him to accidentally kick Rapunzel. Whoops!
"I.......Oh!!" The snow wasn't making things easier for him to stand back up either...
Through the falling white flurries though, Dominic barely managed to catch a glimpse of wood shards flying directly him, presumably from the Gryffindor Captain who just broke her broom. EEK!
Hands flinging to his face, it was too late as the wood caught his eye and just above it. "OWWWW!" he exclaimed, louder than intended, his hand absentmindedly rubbing it. "Iceeee"
Scooping a handful of snow with his bare hands - ignoring the freezing - the fourth year slapped it onto his eye and just above it. It stung! Horribly. Whatever in Merlin's beard was IN that broom? Shaking his head, he looked over towards the first year offering him chocolate.
"I... er... sure" he replied, slight hesitancy in his tone. It couldn't be THAT bad, right?
Miranda thought this was all the kaos that would be seen during the match, but as soon as she had offered Dominic the chocolate, she noticed that her captain had fallen into a heap of snow.
Errr...
Miranda was glad her chocolate was useful for everyone. "
Mmmm, melted chocolate" she took one for herself, unwrapped the sticky paper and put it in her mouth. "
Is goo' isni?" she said chewing.

Guess there is not a lot of pride within the Badger House?" If there was one thing he was at the moment, he was quite disappointed in the Hufflepuffs at the moment.
Miranda had heard the DADA teachers comment. Instantly she felt proud, she had indeed turned in her homework. Turning around to face him with a grin, she instead sat there with a stupid smile on her face. She sighed.

Half-turning so she would be able to see who else was there on the stands Nancy drew in her breath noisily and closed her eyes to not scream in pain. Ouch! She probably was going to have to go to Hospital Wing after all, whether she liked to or not. But not now, no, Quidditch was much more important than a hurting knee.
Spotting Miranda Nancy waved at her trying hard to keep the pain from her eyes. She didn't want anyone to pity her and stuff like that, she just wanted to watch the second half of the match like everyone else.
Suddenly she saw some movement in the corner of her eye, she was distracted from her thoughts. Miranda saw that it was Nancy! She waved back, beckoning her to sit on the empty seat beside her. "
Why don't you sit over here? C'mon!" she smiled big waving her over.
