Attica headed back to Egypt's office to report on her work. Egypt was occupied with some new employees, so Attica took a seat on a couch outside of Egypt's office and waited quietly. Placing the clipboard on the table beside the couch, Attica relaxed into the comfort of the couch. She felt tired and drained, but knew that this was a good kind of exhaustion. It meant that she was getting better. She closed her eyes momentarily and drifted off to sleep.
She looked through the glass and saw Attica dozing the sofa outside her office. She hoped the poor woman was on the mend, she didn't want anyone at work that was sick. That just wasn't good for anyone and then it took someone that much longer to get well. She would tell her to take a few more days of sick leave to get herself sorted out and healthy.
