I actually think the reporter who wrote the article hasn't researched that many films to be honest. There are numerous other films that show the better side of reporter, i.e. The Pelican Brief, I Love Trouble, and even Superman.

What his/her problem is is that they named big budget current films and it bugs them that kids don't believe all reporters are honest. Well that, I'm afraid, just isn't ever going to be true.

Rita wouldn't have been as funny had she been as honest as Denzel in the Pelican Brief. I personally feel that J.K. showed the true side of reporting, the story, it's all they want because it's all their job requires. It just so happens that HP is a worldwide hit and they're scared their reps resemble that of Rita so much that it scares most of them.
