"Oh," Anna said, coming out of her little trance-like state for just a moment in time to answer his question. "I forgot to tell him, Cale. I started to tell him, but then... Oh! I know what happened. When I got there, he had prepared so many different types of food for us to eat. I felt absolutely horrible about breaking the news to him right away. He'd worked so hard. So I said I would try and enjoy the outing, give him the benefit of the doubt, and then I'd tell him."

"It didn't happen that way, though. Funny, but I can't remember much after that point. I do remember a chocolate frog. It was one of the best chocolate frogs I've ever had in my whole life! I know you're probably wondering how one specific frog can be better than another, but it's true. This one definitely was. It smelled like cake baking in the oven, freshly mown grass, and...Wonder Witch products," Anna explained. "...and, no, I don't actually believe the frog smelled that way. Nicky said it was the cake in the picnic basket, the smell of the grounds, and, well, I honestly thought you had come out there, as well for a little bit there. Nicky couldn't explain the last smell."
