"Would you like to grab a seat? Looks like the entertainment is about to begin!" he said happily as he looked around for an empty spot.

"My surprise?", Samantha asked, not able to reveal anything to anyone yet. "Well, I don't really have anything planned yet, just hoping that something good is going to result from this convention, that's all. I just have this feeling that it will, but it's hard to explain. And you!", shs exclaimed, diverting attention from herself. "It's you I'm truly happy for. I have a feeling nothing but good things are going to come your way from now on."

Samantha smiled and sat down quickly, realizing that the ceremonies were truly starting this time. "The Minister will be speaking soon, then the foreign dignitaries," she whispered. "That's Reagan Taylor, Undersecretary to the Minister. She's a very important person, and is really responsible for putting this whole conference together." Deep admiration and reverence for Ms. Taylor were evident in her voice.
