She knew Melissa's opinion about muggles wasn't quite as positive as Belle's. It surprised her to see her fellow Ravenclaw here - but it would be rather amusing to see the other girl in a cabin with muggles. A small smile played on her lips at the thought.

And thinking about Belle-the-smiling-Ravenclaw, there she was.. finishing her apple.
Melissa rolled her green eyes with a small smile.
“You heard it right Belle.” she replied, feeling slightly happier to be talking with someone who wasn’t a muggle.. but who had muggle parents. “ We are going to share the cabin..” Eh, they already shared the dorms at Hogwarts.… we and other muggle/gryffindor girls.”

“Yes I know.. but dear, you know how less good my marks are when it comes to Muggle studies, I needed come.. and the professor basically pushed me to this.” Well, maybe she was exaggerating a little bit, no one had forced her to do anything.. just deep down, really deep down, she just kinda felt like she wanted to remember how it was to live as a muggle.
That and because she needed the marks, of course.
