Kayla said the incantation over in her head a couple of times making sure she got the pronounciation right. She also noticed Nico helping a first year and a little smile spread across her face. Now really it wouldn't be wise to do this especially with Trelawney in the classroom but she needed a little stress relief.
"Inurio Bani" she said confidently as she gave her wand a swoop right in the direction of Nicholai and Lucas. She watched with fascination as a stream of bandages flew out of her wand and...oh dear! One of the bandages looked like it was about to strangle the first year.
"Oops...sorry boys" Kayla gave the boys an inncocent look. "I seem to have got carried away" she bit the inside of her cheek to stop from laughing as she kept a straight face.
Lucas was about to explain to Nico that he was going to make his map talk with some bandages flew around his neck. The force that they wrapped around his neck knocked him over and he went tumbling to the ground and the bowl of water his hand was in went flying everywhere. The bandaged tightened around his neck and he he cried out in fright.
"Help me!" He cried, he was scared.

Seriously, regardless of what their problems were, Lucas was only a first year and she didn't even seem to care that she'd almost strangled the kid. Nicholai freed Lucas from the bandage and evanescoed it, sending another black look at Kayla before turning back to Lucas.
"I think you need some felix felicis." Nicholai commented to Lucas.
Lucas stood up as Nico helped him with the bandage.
"Thank you," He said through the tears streaming down his face.

She turned her gaze to Lucas and her expression softened. "Sorry Lucas, it was an accident, I wouldn't deliberately try and hurt someone" she murmured as she turned her gaze back to Nicholai and raised an eyebrow.
Lucas wiped the tears from his eyes and looked up at the girl as she said she was sorry. He didn't understand why she was picking on him. He turned away from her and buried his face in Nico's robes to cry in peace. He was just having a really bad week and he really wanted his mother.
