his face fell, he hadn't meant to call her by the wrong name. "I'm sorry Anna." he said quietly. Most of the big people in Hogwarts had been mean to him and he wasn't looking forward to repeating that. He cheered up when she agreed to be his partner. "I will be the best partner I promise." he assured her. He took her hand and and waited for more instructions.
He nodded at the professor.
Anna gave Lucas an apologetic look as she saw his face fell. "Oh, Lucas, don't worry about it!" she reassured. "It's honestly not a problem at all. You were really close, though! I've made mistakes with names before, too." She smiled when he took her hand and began to lead her over to the clabberts. "I'm sure you will be the best partner! Now that we've said hello to the clabberts, let's walk back over to where we were and see what the professor has in store for us!" Anna tugged on Lucas' hand and led himback over to the professor. "Lucas and I would like demonstrate, Professor!" she said.
