Laylee sunk into the back of her chair as she said "more than a friendship", and instead of looking happy, like she felt, she looked frightened, which was another feeling that was creeping inside her.
Laylee gave her a weak smile.
She sat quietly as a young boy walked up and began talking to Maura.
Maura seemed to know him, so Laylee let them talk. Quote:

She could only imagine the buzzing going on in all the first year, and second years minds! It was their first times at Hogwarts! How exciting for them!
