It was horrible seeing someone suffering so, and Clifford winced slightly at Miss Shackleton's obvious discomfort. Why had Professor Clark let her come back in!? The woman clearly needed the Hospital Wing.
There was already a small crowd of girls gathering around her though, and Clifford decided it was probably best to stay back. Evangeline was the Prefect here.. she would know what to do, right?
Hurriedly shoving his equipment in his bag, Clifford hovered around, unsure of what to do. "Erm -- Evangeline?" He cleared his throat, hoping to catch her attention. "I'll uhm - I'll wait for you outside."
Yeah.. that was probably best. And chewing his lip rather nervously, Clifford left the classroom.
