And trouble was what she felt - again - when a Gryffindor student, that was strangely familiar though she didn't know from where, stood up and made her way to the rubbish bin. Hmmm. Yup, just like she had been expected .. she was eavesdropping. "You know, the parchment wont jump out of the bin .. you don't need to stand there." She said quietly to the girl, raising an amused eyebrow. There. People couldn't say she hadn't done something about it now. But if the girl refused to sit down, well Evangeline wouldn't make her. Let Cale deal with her in that case.
Oh yes, she couldn't deny. She was curious.
Cale, who may or may not have dozed off slightly reading about his personal month numbers, looked up at the sound of Evangeline's voice. He looked behind him and saw Astrid innocently putting a piece of parchment in the rubbish bin. Geez! Was Evangeline just searching for someone to snap at so she could take all the glory and say that SHE did an amazing job running class while Shackleton was gone? Not if Cale could help it!
"Leave her alone, Evangeline, she isn't doing anything wrong," Cale told her, trying to be as polite as possible about it before giving Astrid a reassuring smile. Pssh. Slytherins were so strange sometimes.
