Macadrian stared at the boy for a moment and then began laughing, "Oh, you are rather clever aren't you. Turning my own words about original thoughts against me and then answering my next question correctly on top of it! Three points to Hufflepuff for just being you, Dominic!" Well, that was quite the mood swing from anger and combativeness to laughter! And what was up with her judgment? Threatening to take the boy off the Quidditch team for something so minor and then awarding him house points for just being him?!?? Clearly, Macadrian's judgment was impaired at this point...

"Now, let's get back to the lesson. Here is a chart of the numerical equivalent of each month to get you started." And with a flick of her wand, the following appeared on the blackboard: "Now, I would like you all to write the following sentence in your notes and fill in the blanks with your calculations."
Dominic blinked at her defensiveness over the monkey number business; weird... weird woman! Sighing, he then gulped when she threatened to take him off the quidditch team. Not like it would be a bad thing; he wouldn't have to deal with hyper crazy captain.
And then... woah! Way to be absolutely insane! She called him clever?! And awarded him points for being him!? Canaries! He'd never thought he'd live to see the day. "I... er... thank you Professor, but I don't think I'm all that clever," he admitting quietly, and then copied the chart into his notes as he worked steadily to complete the blanks:
For the calendar year 2066, which is my Personal Year Number One, my Personal Month Numbers are:
Jan. 2 Feb. 3 Mar. 4
Apr. 5 May 6 June 7
July 8 Aug. 9 Sept. 1 (1+0)
Oct. 2 Nov. 3 Dec. 4
Personal Year Number + reduced calendar month number = Personal Month Number
1 + reduced calender month number = personal month number
