Macadrian nodded in gratitude and answered his question,
"Oh, but they do have lots to do with Arithmancy in an indirect way. These books may not teach us the methods of Arithmancy or explain the qualities of the numbers, but they are all connected. Arithmancy explains the entire world around us, just as Divination and Ancient Runes attempt to do, just in a different manner. As for astronomy, the sky contains a great deal of information if you know how to read it. But, we'll save that for another day. Thank you again for your help. You may take your seat. And five points to you for your assistance."

Macadrian then explained to the class,
"While Cale and Allie take care of the rest of my books, I'm going to explain what we're doing today in class. We will be studying the Personal Month numbers, which quite obviously, are an adjunct to what we studied last class - the Personal Year number. For those of you who were here last class, be sure to find the page of your notes where you calculated your Personal Year number because you will need it. For those of you who weren't here last lesson, now would be a good time to figure out your own Personal Year number. Use chapter 19 in the text to assist you, and if you have trouble, feel free to ask a classmate for assistance. Or you can bring your paper to my desk and I will help you."
